This course is designed to help striving readers increase basic reading comprehension skills, fluency, and encourage students to become more confident readers. Students will be exposed to a variety of literary genres including: fantasy, fiction, nonfiction, etc., and discover how to effectively read and analyze different types of texts. Students will have the opportunity to read orally, make connections, and better understand basic text structure.
